God Is Great & Life Is Good

April 28, 2007

Well let me express how Good Life Is. Right now my beautiful wife and I are sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs, with the night air ringing a sweet tune on the wind chimes. Yelp life is good in Possum Kingdom, thanks to God and all the many folks who have supported my family and myself tirelessly.

I just wanted to let you know that I will be traveling to Charleston for a check up on Monday with Dr. Willner, my hematologists.

I was getting some blades today for our lawn mower and I told them that last year at this time I did not care if the grass grew taller than me, not much I could do about it, but this year that John Deere rides so sweet.

Well I must go now and drink my night glass of Happy Cow Butter Milk and get ready for another wonderful day.

I will be speaking Sunday Morning at Cedar Shoals Baptist Church during the worship hour, come and join us.

If you would like for me to speak at your church or special event, Sunday School Class or group gathering just let me know. You can reply to this blog or e-mail me at or call me.

Good Night and God Bless You and Your Family,

April 16, 2007 Doctor Visit @ MUSC & Donate Life Month

April Is Donate Life Month

The time had come for me to make the wonderful trip back to windy Charleston, SC. The weather was windy and cold. The news from the doctor’s visit was great. Dr. Chavin, my surgeon checked in on me and then told me to have a Great Life, meaning he was turning me back over to Dr. Willner a hepatologist at MUSC. I then had to go see the fine folks at the diabetes floor, they checked me out said I did not need any medication. They also told me to have a great life, said they was nothing for them to do.

I then went to Thank the staff on 6-east and found out that it was
Transplant Nurse Week @ MUSC, so I got to Thank them in person.

On Wednesday April 18, 2007 I got to honor two other wonderful nurses,
Debra & Dru.

I want to Thank every one who has had any part to do with my transplant, I owe you more than I can ever repay.

April Is Donate Life Month – Please fill out your donor card and talk with your family about your wishes.

On Sunday April 22, 2007 I will be speaking at Open Door Community Church in Cheddar, please come and join us to praise and honor
God Almight.

Don’t Worry, Be Happy
I watched Home Makeovers last week and a quote on there stands out to me.
So Many Things To Think About But Nothing To Worry About.
